From industrial look to warm office
After a major renovation, the headquarters of SPITS (specializing in supplying automated packaged drugs to pharmacies) has been enlarged by 2.5 times.
The challenge in the design was mainly in connecting the old and new parts and giving the industrial look a friendly and warm office interior.
We provided the office layout and interior design of the entrance with counter and courtyard. We moved the entrance of the office to the courtyard. This created a bright open space between the existing building and the new building section.
A nice moment for visitors and employees to catch their breath among the abundance of greenery.
In addition to a functional and beautiful office design, SPITS had to become a place where people could enjoy working. "Teamwork with more openness," is the goal.
A lobby with a bar was therefore designed on the second floor adjacent to the attractively furnished meeting rooms with glass walls, auditorium and offices.
For the restaurant, we chose an open corporate kitchen. The canteen has become a nice place to take a break and catch up with colleagues.
We chose stylish lamps that give the space a homely and friendly atmosphere. This contrasts with the clean laboratories. The changing rooms were designed by us and executed by INTOS Interior Solutions.
The special furniture, such as the bar, entrance desk and restaurant furniture were executed by Finitouch.
We provided the design of the signage and stickers. This was installed by our partner HDV signmakers.
