In Rotterdam Waalhaven, the reception hall of the multi tenant office building recently received a fresh, strategically designed appearance.

BESPARK developed an interior concept that seamlessly connects with the harbor environment, with materials such as concrete, corten steel, and wood as tangible references to the maritime landscape.

A recognizable meeting place

The renewed space now functions as the warm and functional heart of the building: a reception desk welcomes visitors, while a convenient service point provides coffee, lunch, and more, so users do not even have to leave the building. This shared area also serves as the building’s calling card, welcoming not only employees but also guests of different tenants.

An interior that blends with its surroundings | With a carefully designed environment that simplifies collaboration, meetings, and quiet work, the interior reflects the dynamics of the harbor area. From the reception space you look out over the harbor, and the materials and colors strengthen that connection with the outside, making the whole feel like a harmonious extension of the landscape.
