A natural home in a flexible office for housing corporation De Sleutels

Housing corporation De Sleutels chose an open, flexible work environment, moving away from closed, assigned workstations. This Design & Build project resulted in a workplace that feels like a home, with De Huiskamer as the central, beating heart of the office.

A place to come home to

Every day, employees start their day in De Huiskamer: the informal, warm meeting space at the heart of the building. A place where good coffee is always within reach and everyone feels welcome.

Flexibility at work

From there, employees spread out across the flexible work floor, choosing a workspace at any moment that suits them. Workstations, meeting areas, lounges, and touchdown tables alternate, all designed with dynamism and connection in mind.

Sustainability is reflected in the reuse of existing elements: a reception desk, service counter, inspiration wall, acoustic ceiling panels, and lighting were all given a second life in this design.

At De Sleutels, the office is no longer just a place to work, but a place to feel at home: flexible, green, and inviting.

Renovate or relocate?

We all notice it: the role of the office is changing. As an entrepreneur, you naturally need to respond to this in a smart way, but how? And more importantly, which strategic choices do you take into account? To help you get started, we developed this white paper. It outlines the different options for both scenarios.
