In 2023, we began the design and realization of a beautiful new space for Integraal Kankercentrum Nederland (IKNL)in a former V&D building.

The goal? A sustainable new office where open structures create stronger connections across the workplace. With a floor area of over 1,800 m² in Hoog Catharijne, located in the heart of Utrecht, the office became more than just a place to work—it became the organization’s home base.

Result

Using sustainable materials and high-tech booking systems, we created a dynamic workplace. Smart lighting, flexible meeting areas, and ergonomic furniture provide a boost in both comfort and productivity.

And the colors? They were chosen with intention and play a key role in the design. They reflect the corporate identity of Integraal Kankercentrum Nederland (IKNL), create surprising accents, and bring the entire space together as one cohesive whole.

The result is a tailor-made environment that offers flexibility for different work styles and actively encourages collaboration. According to Paul, this is exactly where we excel: combining a professional appearance with a sense of home. Employees not only feel more comfortable in the space, but are also coming to the office more often.
