For Bakken & Bæck, BESPARK handled the project management and realization of an inspiring workspace at HNK Houthavens in Amsterdam. A warm and functional design with zones for focus, collaboration, and relaxation, fully tailored to the innovative and creative way of working of this technology and design partner.

The open space is divided into zones that respond to the diverse needs of employees. There is a dedicated focus area for concentrated work, while the meeting zone is ideal for discussions and brainstorming sessions.
Based on a design by Danish design studio Spacon & X, we realized “The Stage,” with the impressive long bar as its central focal point. This space is intended as a lounge and meeting area, designed for relaxation, exchanging ideas, and collaboration.
Warm tones such as red, burgundy, and brown, combined with striking orange and yellow accents, form the foundation of the spaces. These colors not only create warmth but also add energy and stimulate creativity in this modern work environment. Inspiration can be found everywhere.
At Bakken & Bæck, we chose natural materials such as wood, cork, hemp, and sisal, bringing a touch of nature indoors. The result? A healthy and sustainable work environment that enhances a sense of connection with nature.
Our office design values not only aesthetics, but also functionality. Acoustic curtains separate the different work zones, reducing noise, ensuring privacy, and allowing employees to work without disturbance.
